Events

Imperial Porta-Palace provides clean, reliable, portable restrooms for a variety of events. We can serve anywhere from seven to as many as 70,000 people and more. While Imperial has had the privilege of serving such notable events as the Vikings training camp, and President Bush's Presidential Campaign, we value each and every customer. Every customer is important to us, from the largest and most notable to the smallest; whether you need only one or a hundred units, we will treat you like royalty!

Minnesota Vikings Training Camp features practices which are generally free and open to the public, and also various ticketed events for team scrimmages, practice with the Kansas City Chiefs and other events.

Heritage Festival
New Ulm, MN

This festival takes place annually in July, in New Ulm, Minnesota and features German ethnic entertainment, arts, crafts, children's activities, music, dancing, food, and beverages; the festival takes place over two consecutive three-day weekends. The two day event attracts over 25,000 Festgoers every single year! The festival has pone of the largest chicken dances and award-winning sauerkraut wrestling!

Sweet Corn Days
Sleepy Eye, MN

The Litchfield Sweet Corn Days is a community sponsored event that offers fun and entertainment for all ages. The event kicks off with a sidewalk chalk drawing contest and an annual Litchfield Treasure Hunt and Sweet Corn Days parade. Throughout the weekend, there is live music, free children's games, a car show, and antique tractor pulls.


Auto Festival
New Ulm, MN

Two-day, annuall auto show in New Ulm, Minnesota, featuring over 350 cars of all eras. Saturday is a gathering day with an afternoon "Clue Cruise" and evening meal and socializing. Sunday is the show day with live DJ, food and drink sales, "dynometer battles" and prizes.

RiverBlast
New Ulm, MN

Riverside Park in New Ulm, Minnesota comes alive every Labor Day weekend. Events include free camping right in the park, free boat rides, free canoe rides in a 28 ft. canoe, free kayaking, free live entertainment, food, refreshments, 10 K run, Jurassic Survivor obstacle course, farmers market, river information, free face painting, various cool items for sale, fishing, and just hanging out enjoying the scene. Join your family of the river for our yearly reunion.

Bock Fest
New Ulm, MN

Outdoor winter festival on the grounds of historic Schell's Brewery in New Ulm. They feature the seasonally new "Bock Beer", music, food stands, medallion hunt in the adjoining Flandrau State Park, parade and great fun! This event has become a winter tradtion in New Ulm.

Longhorn Days
Lester Prairie, MN

Longhorn Days is an annual three-day celebration in mid summer that attracts thousands Minnesotan folks. The event is put on by the Longhorn Days Committee and community volunteers. Longhorn Days serves as a fundraising project for the Lester Prairie Fire Department, the Lester Prairie Relief Association, and other worthy local projects. The festival is city-wide and has a number of fun activities for all ages.

Chanhassen takes great pride in promoting "community" through special events. With the generous support of area businesses, the city hosts four annual special events. The following information is provided to acquaint you with each individual celebration.

February Festival

February Festival is held in Lake Ann Park in early February each year. This special event includes open ice-skating, a s'mores cookout on a flaming bonfire, food concessions, and of course the ever popular ice fishing contest! This one-day event draws 1,000-2,000 participants and spectators.

Fourth of July Celebration

This is Chanhassen's premier community event! Our annual celebration is a year-round topic of conversation in the community and participation levels top 3,000 persons per day. This two-day celebration is held on July 3rd and 4th. Highlights include a kiddie parade, community parade, games, adult and children's fishing festivals, food concessions, the Chamber of Commerce Business Fair, a street dance, and the spectacular fireworks display over Lake Ann. All events on July 3rd are held in City Center Park (north of City Hall) and at Lake Ann Community Park on the 4th of July.

Halloween Party

The Halloween Party has provided children with Halloween fun and entertainment for more than fifteen years. The Halloween Party includes trick-or-treating, live entertainment, games, haunted room, an authentic horse-drawn hayride (weather permitting), and refreshments. Over 1,200 children and parents are expected for this night of spooktacular fun! This year's party will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2005 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Chanhassen Recreation Center.
